The materials we use for our Round Pens are chosen for their durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. A round pen or lunge pen needs to be usable all year round, so the surface has to withstand the weather and a lot of abuse. All-Weather Turnout Paddocks / Pens:

Our all-weather turnout paddocks or pens are built to withstand all types of weather conditions. Our team considers factors such as terrain, climate, and horse behaviour to create paddocks that are best suited to your environment and facilities. We believe in the importance of creating spaces that improve the physical and mental well-being of your horses.

We supply a wide variety of surfaces to allow for the most comfortable environment for your horse. Our multi-layered surfacing includes a combination of soil, drainage material, and mud free footing - often using a type 1 base topped with crushed limestone 'dust' which provides a soft but compact and durable surface. Rainfall is effectively drained by our surfacing, avoiding standing water. Our system ensures that the surface remains effective over time as well as providing a stable and secure footing.
